Description
These are peeled, dried yellow peas that have been mechanically split to reduce cooking time. They are a light yellow colour, with a slightly sweet, mealy flavour when cooked.

Organic yellow peas
Directions
Do not need to be soaked overnight. Rinse 1 cup peas and combine in a saucepan with 4 cups water. Simmer over low heat until tender, approximately 1 hour.
Uses
Use organic split yellow peas in soup, curries, pureed as a side dish, or mixed in with other vegetable dishes.
