So what do I do? Well, by day, I am the Arts + Innovation Pastor at River Church which is currently forming in the West Ashley area of Charleston, SC. I oversee the teams that lead the Worship, Communications, and overall Experience of River Church. By night, I put on my cape and tights to serve folks through web and graphic design and development.
By genetics, I am the son of an electrical engineer and an elementary school music teacher. By choice, I am a follower of Jesus Christ and a husband to Annette. We married in 2002 after 6 months of dating + 3 months of engagement. (Best impulsive decision I ever made.) We make cute babies and good laughs. Kenni (McKenna) was born in early 2005, Caia in the summer of 2007, and Jac (Jackson) in early 2009.
I am a native of the suburbs of Atlanta (Harrison High Class of ‘94). I graduated from the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech in March of 1999, but somehow ended up working in the church. Believe it or not, my education as an architect gets used every single day (though I’m still not sure my mom and dad believe me).
